March 2026 – February 2027, PI, supported by NVIDIA Academic Grant Program
Aim to develop a multi-fidelity optimisation framework that orchestrates Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) validation to efficiently identify safety violations and hardware-induced failures in autonomous driving systems.
April 2025 – Dec 2026, Co-PI, funded by IITP (South Korea)
Aim to develop novel testing and debugging approaches for autonomous driving system-of-systems (i.e. multiple, independent autonomous vehicles driving on the same road), in collaboration with KAIST Web Engineering Lab.
Jan 2024 – June 2026, PI, funded by EPSRC
Aim to develop automated approaches for finding a minimal set of failure-inducing scenario entities in critical driving scenarios.
